August Wrap Up

Your girl turned 23, went to some concerts, ate take out every day and did some some shopping, too.

Sweat. Mosh pits. And more sweat. 
This was such a fun concert even though my edges clocked out early because it was so hot. I wasn't expecting to enjoy Malibu Miitch as much as I did since I had only really listened to one of her songs but she was so cute and bubbly that I was here for it. The same could be said about Rico and I got my entire life. I'm so happy I live closer to Atlanta now because I can go to even more of these smaller shows.

Ratchet +Woke. That's all I could think of when J. Cole announced he was going on tour with Young Thug and I was not disappointed. Jaden Smith was one of the opening acts and while the screaming was a bit much, I'm here for his energy. Part two to me being excited about living closer to Atlanta is that Atlanta artists tend to just pop up. The collective excitement when T.I. came out was electric. It was so nice going from seeing J. Cole at a smaller venue during his last tour to an arena.​

The groupie jumped OUT. I drove 5 hours to Nashville for his show and I dare anyone to judge me. Looking back, I should have gotten as close to the stage as possible. (Did you see those hip thrusts?) Brent Faiyaz is oh so vibey and cute and we've decided to stan forever. This was my first time actually waiting to see a performer after their show and I'm so glad I did because your girl got two hugs AND an autograph.
